Jools with music for Saturday lunchtime

Jools is joined by keyboardist Rick Wakeman, with music from Mozart and Bologne to Mahalia Jackson and Lionel Hampton.

In a new show for Saturday lunchtimes, Jools shares his lifelong passion for classical music, and the beautiful connections with jazz and blues. With fascinating guests each week, who bring their own favourite music and occasionally perform live in Jools's studio.

Today, Jools's choices include music by Bruckner, Bach and Bologne, with performances from Mahalia Jackson, Vikingur Olafsson and Illinois Jacquet. His guest is the keyboard player and composer Rick Wakeman who introduces music he loves by Mozart, Schubert and Ravel.
