鈥楻ound Midnight is Radio 3鈥檚 weekday evening jazz show, presented by British saxophonist Soweto Kinch. It spotlights the best jazz, with an emphasis on the thriving UK scene.

Throughout the week, UK trumpeter Laura Jurd will be selecting music from living legends, unsung heroes and artists she thinks deserve recognition and respect. Today, bassist Ruth Goller, is given her Flowers.

Plus, there's music from Danish duo Svaneborg Kardyb, US saxophonist Nicole McCabe and Scottish saxophonist Matt Carmichael - who like Laura Jurd and Ruth Goller, also features on the Edinburgh Jazz & Blues Festival line-up this week.
