Great Britain are the defending champions, having made history 12 months ago when the team of Ondine Achampong, Jessica Gadirova, Becky Downie, Alice Kinsella and Georgia-Mae Fenton secured a first ever European team title. Four of the five return hoping to make it back-to-back golds, with the injured Gadirova replaced by promising teenager Ruby Evans.
