Its aim is to raise awareness of volunteering throughout the UK and provide opportunities for people to experience volunteering and make a difference in their communities. Last year, over 7 million people lent their time to causes around the UK, as part of The Big Help Out. So, if you have an hour or so to spare and fancy helping out in your local area on the weekend of 7th - 9th June, this is your chance to get involved.
