Presenter Lolly Spence tracks down family heirlooms and prized possessions from Ulster’s bygone days in desperate need of repair.
In each episode, a unique object is returned to its former glory by local experts, as Lolly explores its historic and cultural connections to the Ulster-Scots story. Along the way, she meets some of Northern Ireland’s finest restorers, the men and women helping keep our traditional crafts alive.
The first object up for repair is one that’s very close to home for Lolly – a battered old bible that’s been in her family since the 1800s. But after sitting in an attic for decades, can it be returned to its former glory?
