Join Cerys for an eclectic expedition heading west! She'll be taking you on an audio adventure starting in Egypt, heading west across Africa to Mali before crossing the Atlantic Ocean to arrive in French Guiana and crossing over land to finish in Colombia, all from the comfort of your speakers!

Featuring a session from the all-female African supergroup Les Amazones d’Afrique. The group formed in Mali in 2015, and has a line up which has featured Angelique Kidjo, Rokia Kone, Mariam Doumbia and Oumou Sangaré. Ahead of the release of their third album on Real World Records, Les Amazones d'Afrique perform three songs exclusively for Sunday listeners, with the current line-up of Mamani Keita, Fafa Ruffino, Alvie Bitemo, Nadjib Ben Bella, Franck Baya, and Manu Lechat.

Expect a mixture of genres spanning folk, funk, blues, beats and jazz blended with Â鶹Éç Archive.
