Take 30 minutes out with a relaxing classical mix
Take time out with a 30-minute soundscape of classical music, with pieces by Richard Strauss, John Dowland and Mozart.
The mix starts in seventeenth-century Venice with the spectacular opening to Monteverdi's Vespers, followed by Michael Nyman's modern take on the Catalogue Aria from Mozart's Don Giovanni. Some real Mozart is next, then we hear Scottish composer's Erland Cooper evocation of the landscapes of Orkney. The mix ends with Jessye Norman's glorious performance of the last of Richard Strauss's Four Last Songs.
