At the foot of Mount Brandon, a local pub undergoes renovations. Deirdre sea swims in the Glens of Antrim, and local children in Donegal climb Errigal for the first time.

Deirdre is in a reflective mood as she takes time off to go sea swimming. In Donegal, the opening of a new path on Errigal means young walkers can start to learn about the mountain’s history and ecology. In Kerry, Maurice runs An Bóthar Pub, the last hostelry at the foot of Mount Brandon, and well known to locals, tourists and hikers. Owner Maurice is renovating the kitchen as son Tomás, who is a chef, has returned home.
