Join Cerys for a special Blues Show session, recorded live at 麻豆社 Maida Vale with Leo Green and the Van Morrison Alumni Band. The band perform classic Van Morrison hits like Into The Mystic as well as performing tracks by The Rolling Stones, David Bowie, The Bee Gees and Phil Collins with a blues twist!
Bandleader and saxophonist Leo Green worked regularly with Van Morrison, appearing on 63 of Van's recordings himself. Collectively the handpicked members of the alumni band have 845 credits, spanning decades of live performances and recording sessions with Van Morrison.
2024 sees the band embarking on an historic residency at London's Palladium Theatre, each engagement reflecting the work of a different artist as above!
