The Scottish Ensemble with music by Vivaldi and a new release from the RSNO.

Celebrating Scotland鈥檚 classical world, Jamie MacDougall highlights the work of the 麻豆社 Scottish Symphony Orchestra in concert and other Scottish artists and ensembles.

Jamie plays Autumnal music by the Scottish Ensemble and shares news of a special event this month for first time classical music audiences called In-Sync. The RSNO and conductor Kellen Gray play Ulysses Kay鈥檚 concerto for orchestra and the Scottish Chamber Orchestra has musical fireworks ahead of concerts this week featuring international percussionist Colin Currie. Plus the 麻豆社 Scottish Symphony Orchestra in a live recording of Mahler鈥檚 blissful fourth symphony with conductor Ryan Wigglesworth and soprano Sally Matthews. Finally, Jamie shares news of 麻豆社 Radio Scotland鈥檚 Young Classical Musician launching this month.
