In this sixth edition of The Piping Season, Gary West looks at the theme of passing on the music 鈥� exploring how the tradition of piping music is transmitted from one generation to the next and kept alive through special musical relationships that exists between teacher and pupil. We also hear from German piper Anna Kummerlow, one of the winners at this year's Northern Meeting in Inverness, alongside musical flavours from Cristina Pato, Angus MacColl and Ross Ainslie performing with Brighde Chaimbeul & Steven Byrnes.
