Agatha Christie's great grandson, The Land and Sea Film Festival, and Tuesday Review

Agatha Christie's great grandson on his new Poirot film. Plus the Land and Sea Film Festival in Montrose and Tuesday Review looks at the latest TV and music offerings.

On Thursday a new Agatha Christie film starring Kenneth Branagh as Hercule Poirot hits the cinemas. Janice chats to the Executive Producer of A Haunting in Venice, James Pritchard, who also happens to be Christie’s great grandson.

Rodge Glass’ newest book focusses on the life of Dutch-born author Michel Faber. He’s best known for his books, Under the Skin, and The Crimson Petal and the White, and he called Scotland home for several decades.

This weekend the Land and Sea Film Festival will be making waves at Montrose’s Playhouse Cinema. Janice hears all about it from co-producer, Montrose-based filmmaker Anthony Baxter along with Graham Fellows whose film Father Earth will be screened at the festival.

Plus, on Tuesday Review this week, Doug Johnstone and Amna Saleem will be giving their verdict on Amazon Prime’s new thriller Wilderness, the hotly anticipated new album Relentless from rock legends The Pretenders, and the third season of the star-studded Disney+ comedy caper Only Murders in the Building.
