The third in the summer series of Monday Lunchtime Concerts introduced by Sara Mohr-Pietsch and featuring music recorded in concert by some of Radio 3's New Generation Artists. Today, an all-French programme including Berlioz's Les Nuits d鈥檈te with soprano Masabane Cecilia Rangwanasha and the 麻豆社 Symphony Orchestra conducted by Kerem Hassan. Cellist Santiago Canon Valencia plays Ravel's Sonata in A major, recorded at the Ryedale Festival in May, and the French theme starts with music by Rameau, recorded at this year's Norfolk and Norwich Festival by accordionist Ryan Corbett.
