It’s been three decades since the novel 'Trainspotting' came in to the world. Three years later, the iconic film hit the big screen and now the first ever illustrated book is being released. Janice is joined by award-winning illustrator Nicole Rifkin who took on the task of illustrating Trainspotting and academic, journalist and author John Sutherland who has written the book’s introduction.

From 'James and the Giant Peach', to 'Fantastic Mister Fox' and 'Mr Stink' – Quentin Blake has brought cherished characters alive to generations of children and grown-ups with his recognisable artworks. A new exhibition has opened in Aberdeen. We’re joined by its artistic director Olivia Ahmad, and Janice Hopper and her son Samuel who visited the exhibits.
