Bells on Sunday comes from St Mary鈥檚 Church in Chislet in Kent. The 12th century Grade 1 listed church is largely built of course rubble with stone dressings brought from Caen in France. There are six bells, three of which were cast in 1729 by the Samuel Knight foundry of Reading. The Tenor bell weighs fifteen and three quarter hundredweight and is tuned to the note of E flat. We hear them ringing Grandsire Doubles.
