Brahms in Perth and Bartok鈥檚 Wooden Prince

Jamie shares performances by the Maxwell Quartet, the 麻豆社 SSO and The Scottish Ensemble.

Perth is in focus this week as the Perth Festival of the Arts begins this month and Jamie shares music by performers appearing this year. Plus there鈥檚 a live concert recording from Perth Concert Hall by The Maxwell Quartet joined by violist Scott Dickinson and cellist Su-a Lee 鈥� they play Brahms鈥� much loved and richly romantic Sextet Op18. Also on the programme the 麻豆社 SSO and conductor Thomas Dausgaard bring Bartok鈥檚 Wooden Prince to life in in a fairy tale ballet.
