VE Day, 1945: The scars of war are still raw on an evening of 'family and forgiveness'. Stars Gillian Barge and Nathaniel Parker.

It's 8th May 1945, VE Day.

Vera Makin is organising an evening of 'family and forgiveness', but the scars of war remain painful.

Guests include a West Indian merchant seaman, a German daughter-in-law and a son thought lost.

During the celebrations, guests are asked to list their desires from the peace.

Starring Gillian Barge and Nathaniel Parker.

Nick Stafford鈥檚 two-part drama about the effects of the Second World War and the wishes of those left to rebuild.
