Taking us on a ten-song journey throughout his colourful life, Madness frontman Suggs is Vernon Kay's first guest on Tracks of My Years.
The theme of his choices celebrate his birthplace, London, and includes London Calling by The Clash, as well as the rather tenuous link of Cry Me a River by Julie London! In a frank and friendly chat, both Vernon and Suggs talk about how the most famous of all dad-dances, which Suggs describes as the Nutty Train, came about.
One of the biggest and most-loved British bands of all time, Madness have just announed their C'est La Vie 2023 13-date tour, beginning in November in Aberdeen and on to many of the major cites, including Glasgow, Newcastle, Liverpool, Manchester and London, with special guests The Lightning Seeds.
