Lucie Skeaping introduces the second of two shows dedicated to highlights from the 2022 London International Festival of Early Music, or LIFEM. Today, there are motets from two different Bachs from the vocal ensemble Solomon鈥檚 Knot, Taracea bring us the Spanish rhythms of Martin Codax alongside an innovative take on the music of John Dowland, Charlotte Schneider is joined by Alice Letort for a Rondo by Joseph Gelinek for guitar and csakan - a type of duct flute, and the Brook Street Band play a selection of music by Handel. Plus, festival director Chris Butler gives us a sneak preview of what is coming up in this year's festival.
