Rokia Kone is one of West Africa's most dynamic artists. Born in Mali, she is now one of their most-loved stars. Born into a family of singers, she was surrounded by music from a young age and sang with Ali Coulibaly before going solo. She joined the supergroup Les Amazones d'Afrique alongside Mamani Keita, Oumou Sangare and Mariam Doumbia, and Angelique Kidjo, and made her debut on the international stage. In 2022, she released her debut album BAMANAN in collaboration with producer Jacknife Lee.
Lesley Paterson is a Scottish off-road triathlete, five-time world champion turned film maker. Her debut film All Quiet On The Western Front took sixteen years to get made, and this year it was nominated for nine Academy Awards, winning Best Cinematography, Best International Film, Best Original Score as well as taking home seven BAFTA awards including Best Film.
