Dalia Stasevska conducts the 麻豆社 Symphony Orchestra in Elgar's Cello Concerto, with Sol Gabetta, Sibelius's First Symphony and Iain Farrington's musical celebration of the 麻豆社, A Party with Auntie.

The 麻豆社 Symphony Orchestra and their guest principal conductor Dalia Stasevska bring you an evening of stirring and poignant music from the Barbican in London. Starting with Elgar鈥檚 hauntingly beautiful Cello Concerto, performed by multi-award-winning Argentine cellist Sol Gabetta, the evening culminates in Sibelius鈥檚 electrifyingly stormy First Symphony.

In between, there鈥檚 a surprise in store. The orchestra performs A Party with Auntie, a piece written by Iain Farrington to celebrate the 麻豆社鈥檚 100th anniversary that features no less than 15 麻豆社 theme tunes hidden within Iain鈥檚 own original music.
