Spy balloons, TikTok and Taiwan - trouble is never far away from the US-China relationship. Will those tensions spill over and spell trouble for global prosperity?

Spy balloons, TikTok and Taiwan - trouble is never far away from the US-China relationship. The world's two biggest economies have a huge influence on the rest of the world, but will those tensions spill over and spell trouble for global prosperity? US companies are more pessimistic about doing business in China than they have been for a long time. The president of the American Chamber of Commerce in China, Michael Hart, tells Ben Boulos why his members are thinking again about investing their money in China. Talking Business also hears from the chief economist of Hang Seng Bank China, Dan Wang, about why trade between the two countries has proven so resilient, and former head of the International Monetary Fund's China Division Professor Eswar Prasad about how US-China tensions could lead to higher prices for the rest of us. Also, the boss of global hotel giant IHG, Keith Barr, explains how he is getting the company back to full health after the damage inflicted by Covid-19.
