Cùm Sùil Orm

Abdullah and his friends build a tower to lookout for his lost father. Tha Abdullah agus a charaidean a’ togail tùr-fàire gus sùil a chumail a-mach airson athar.

Something very strange is happening on the Island of Marabhal - more and more people are noticing that things are going missing from their crofts and gardens. Annie and Ruaraidh have discovered that their dad’s binoculars have also gone missing. As the pair puzzle over the mystery, fellow classmate Angela has a theory - isn’t it funny that items have only been going missing since Abdullah, a refugee boy from Syria came to stay in the village a month ago?

Annie doesn’t believe the unfair accusations spouted by her suspicious neighbour and sets out to prove her wrong.

Cùm Sùil Orm was filmed on the Isle of Lewis in the North of Scotland and stars Abdullah Al Nakeeb, Bethan Neil, Beth MacSween and Finlay MacMillan along side Ousama Al Nakeeb, Mairi MacLennan and Ruaraidh Munro.

Tha rud àraid a’ tachairt an Eilean Marabhal - tha daoine a’ mothachadh gu bheil stuth bhon croitean is an gàraidhean a’ dol air chall. Tha e air a thighinn gu aire Annie agus Ruairidh gu bheil prosbaig an athar nam measg. Fhad ‘s a tha an dithis aca a’ cnuasachadh air seo, tha beachd aig an co-aois Angela; nach neònach gun do thòisich seo bho thànaig Abdullah a dh’fhuireach dhan eilean, balach òg a tha na fhògarrach à Syria?

Chan eil Annie ga creids ge tà agus a’ tòiseachadh air oidhirp airson dearbhadh gu bheil i ceàrr. Chaidh Cùm Sùil Orm a chlàradh air Eilean Leòdhais an ceann a tuath na h-Alba agus tha Abdullah Al Nakeeb, Bethan Neil, Beth NicSuain agus Fionnlagh Mac a’ Mhaoilein ann mar chleasaichean cuide ri Ousama Al Nakeeb, Mairi NicIllinnein and Ruaraidh Rothach.
