His Majesty is joined on Whitehall by other members of the royal family and representatives of the government, the armed forces, the Commonwealth and faith communities for the two-minute silence at 11 o鈥檆lock and the National Service of Remembrance. This is followed by wreath-laying as the nation remembers all those who died serving their country.

Nearly 10,000 veterans are expected to take part in the historic march-past. Sophie Raworth is on Horse Guards to hear from those marching as they share their own remarkable stories of courage and sacrifice.
