Cerys is joined by fellow 6 Music DJ Craig Charles to chat about his love of poetry, food writer Mark Diacono talks spices and music, and Cerys reveals the winner of a Gramophone Award.

Craig joins the show to talk about his life as a poet, ahead of a week of celebrating verse on his own show. 6 Music's A Way With Words kicks off on Craig's afternoon show on Monday 3rd October, culminating on National Poetry day on Thursday 6th October with Patti Smith, Mike Skinner and many more talking about their love of words.

Food writer Mark Diacono just published a new book called 'Spice: A Cook's Companion', and he tells Cerys about three different spices and how they relate to some of his favourite music.

And Cerys reveals and talks with the winner of the Gramophone Award for Best Concept Album. The award ceremony returns on Tuesday 4th October, but Cerys exclusively reveals the first winner of this year's prestigous classical music awards.
