The Southern Brave were the first side to lift the trophy last year after they defeated Birmingham Phoenix at the home of cricket. Brave鈥檚 opening batter Paul Stirling was named player of the final after smashing 61 runs from 36 balls. Despite the best efforts of Liam Livingstone and Moeen Ali in the second innings, the Phoenix fell 32 short of their target.
