The Fire finished bottom of the pile last year, but with England international Tammy Beaumont drafted in as captain and former West Indies all-rounder Gareth Breese now in charge, there鈥檚 a new sense of optimism at the Cardiff-based franchise.

Last year鈥檚 runners-up Southern Brave comfortably beat the Fire home and away in 2021, and their total of 166-3 at the Ageas Bowl was the highest achieved by any side in the women鈥檚 tournament last season.
