Mark Chapman introduces highlights of the day’s three Premier League fixtures, including Newcastle United against Manchester City at St James’ Park.
Pep Guardiola’s side won comfortably at Newcastle last season en route to the league title, scoring four unanswered goals, but the home side thought they should be awarded a penalty when City goalkeeper Ederson clattered into Ryan Fraser.
The day’s other games sees West Ham United take on Brighton & Hove Albion, while Leeds United host Chelsea – the Blues are unbeaten in eight meetings with the Yorkshire club, their last defeat coming at Elland Road nearly 20 years ago.
