Poetry, a damaged pier in Ballywalter, Eli Beadle and who to cheer at The Superbowl!

Poetry from Brian Alexander, a report from storm damaged Ballywalter pier, a catch up with musician Eli Beadle and the Ulster-Scots connected team to cheer on at The Superbowl!

Who would have thought there’d be an opportunity for our Rab and Chris Pollock to talk about the NFL? With the help of Cincinnati based musician and former guest Eli Beadle the lads explain why there’s an Ulster-Scots connection at this year’s Superbowl. Brian Alexander explains how he stumbled upon writing his first poem (and performs it for the team) while Gibson Young has a report from Ballywalter Pier – currently missing a chunk thanks to storm Barra!
The team loves to hear from listeners with their comments about the programme, or with a yarn or song or poem to share or an Ulster-Scots event to promote. You can contact them at kintra@bbc.co.uk.
