The Author
Joseph O'Connor was born in Dublin. He is the author of nine novels as well as two collections of short stories and a number of bestselling works of non-fiction. He has received numerous awards including the Irish PEN Award for Outstanding Contribution to Irish Literature.

The Author
Matthew McDevitt lives in Derry with a very clever librarian and three Spaniels. He is a writer for 麻豆社 NI's television series 'Soft Border Patrol' and his first radio play 'Lock In' starring Conleth Hill was broadcast on 麻豆社 Radio Ulster in 2018. He is one of 麻豆社 Writersroom鈥檚 2020-21 Drama Room writers.
