Episode 7
Comedian Dom Joly and actor Pauline McLynn are in Lancashire with Phil and James, buying antique bamboo and teapots. Who will have the last laugh at auction?
Shout ‘hello!’ to comedian and travel writer Dom Joly, renowned for his devilish prank show Trigger Happy TV, and his great chum Pauline McLynn, an award-winning actor who shot to stardom as the tea-pushing Mrs Doyle in hit series Father Ted.
Providing the antiques expertise are James Braxton and Philip Serrell. With £400 and two sporty classic cars, the teams test their antiques knowledge in a quest to bring home the big bucks at an auction in Cheshire.
But it’s not just a shopping adventure! Dom and James wet their whistle in the last remaining temperance bar in Britain, while Pauline and Phil discover a wonder material that transformed Victorian interior design.
