IS women and children and cutting out 'slanguage'
Ankur and guests talk about IS women and children and whether they should be brought back to the UK. Also should slang words be banned in schools?
In 60 minutes Ankur Desai chats to guests, director of human rights organisation Reprieve Maya Foa, director of the Centre for Radicalisation at Kings College, London Dr Shiraz Maher, and founder of the Groundswell Project Hadiya Masieh about women and children who were a part of IS, and asks the important question – should IS brides be allowed to return to the UK?
He also chats to podcaster Haider Ali, dentist Trishala Lakhani and linguist Abda Obeid-Findley about a secondary school in London trying to stop pupils from using slang in classrooms. He wants to know if we should crack down on slanguage in essays and exams?
