The internationally successful brass group, the Wallace Collection joins Jamie in the studio for a Best of Brass special.

The internationally successful brass group, the Wallace Collection joins Jamie in the studio for a Best of Brass special. As well as performing live, the Wallace Collection gives us a tour of their instruments; trumpet, horn, trombone and tuba, unpacking their history and the mechanics behind their sound. We鈥檒l also hear from some of the ancestors of modern brass instruments, like the ophicleide and how they fell out of fashion. Plus Jamie uncovers the thriving Brass Band culture in the Balkans and the strong scene at home in Scotland, with music from the latest bands to win titles at the Scottish National Championships.
