A service to mark the 20th anniversary of 9/11 from St Mary's Conwy, led by the Rt Rev'd Andy John, Bishop of Bangor.
The evening edition of the programme includes My Favourite Hymn.
Today's service is a reflection on the events that occurred on the 11th September 2001 and the twenty years that have passed since those terrorist attacks in the USA. Bishop Andy writes: "This act of worship draws together the deepest longing for peace and security, with the hope all Christians cherish that God's kingdom brings forgiveness, reconciliation and a new start for all people."
Hymns include "God is love, let heaven adore him", "For the healing of the nations" and "All my hope on God is founded". Readings from Psalm 103 read by Fu Lian Doble, and 1 Peter chapter 2 read by the Revd David Parry, Vicar at St Mary's. Prayers specially written by the Revd Eryl Parry accompanied by Hazel Sturt ('cello). The organ was played by Graham Eccles and the choir was directed by Christopher Roberts.
