In celebration of International Bog Day, Mark takes a trip to Flanders Moss near Stirling to meet up with Ellie Lawson who was out on the bog collecting important data on a rare moth caterpillar.
Seaweed has been in the news a lot recently so wild forager Fiona Bird joins Mark and Euan to talk about this hugely versatile ingredient and why we should be using it more in cooking.
When it comes to endurance events they don’t get more exciting than the one James Armour has just completed. James has created history by becoming the first person to run, swim and cycle the outer Hebrides in a time of 52 hours.
Helen Needam takes a walk round the Forvie National Nature Reserve with writer Baz Nichols to hear more about his work which is largely based around lost, hidden and abandoned landscapes.

Whilst on a recent trip to Ben Nevis, Euan and Mark made a wee detour to meet up with mountain guide Mick Tighe who looks after the Scottish Mountain Heritage Collection which includes a pair of electric socks of all things.
And Mark visits Michael Sinclair, a wood carver from Orkney to witness his wood turning skills.
