A WOMAD infused celebration

With WOMAD 2021 cancelled, Cerys curates 3 hours of music inspired by the festival. With kora player Sona Jobarteh in conversation and a new session from Onipa.

With WOMAD 2021 cancelled, Cerys weaves a celebration of music from artists reaching all around the globe who've previously played at WOMAD.

Sona Jobarteh is in conversation with Cerys, discussing being the first professional female kora player in the Griot family, her upcoming new album and working with Ballak茅 Sissoko. Onipa are in session for Cerys, recording two tracks, one paying homage to Zimbabwean musician Oliver Mtukudzi.

Plus chef and food writer Claire Thomson takes us camping providing some inspiration on what to rustle up on a campfire or camping stove.
