Currently only around a third of men take up the opportunity of sharing parental leave with their partner. We speak to Shadow Business Secretary Ed Miliband, who wants a big re-think of paternity leave.
In a new report by the House of Commons Public Accounts Committee, it's claimed that the government has not delivered on a promise to create parity between social care workers and NHS staff. It suggests that a plan to address low pay, poor career development and to tackle high staff turnover is long overdue.
