The Financial Conduct Authority has warned about the growth in online adverts for scams or unregulated and unsafe investments. The regulator has announced plans to react more quickly to suspicious ads, adding company names to the FCA warning list within 24 hours where possible. The hope is that consumers can be warned about risky investments at the same time that they're being targeted. We'll hear from a listener who lost 拢50,000 after seeing an online advert for cryptocurrency trading.

The government has announced plans to ban peat use by 2025, and there will be a public consultation later this year. Peat bogs take thousands of years to form and are valuable carbon stores. When they're mined for compost the peat then emits that carbon into the atmosphere. The government has announced 拢50m funding for the restoration of some of England's peat bogs, we look at how these sites can be restored and how long it takes.

Holidays to green rated countries such as Portugal are now permitted, and travel countries are offering holidays to some amber rated countries as well, despite government advice not to travel for leisure. The testing requirements for each country you travel to are different, and testing requirements on your return will depend on whether its a green or amber country you've travelled from.
