Brexit: an d猫idh 3 m矛osan
Tha tr矛 m矛osan gu leth bho th脿inig 霉ine eadar-amail Brexit gu ceann agus bho th貌isich riaghailtean malairt 霉r eadar an R矛oghachd Aonaichte agus an t-Aonadh 贰貌谤辫补ch. Do chuid de ghnothachasan tha na seachdainean mu dheireadh air a bhith gu math d霉bhlanach. Ged nach deach c矛sean tariff a chur an sas, tha c矛sean cuspainn agus cosgaisean 霉ra eile nan uallach m貌r do fheadhainn.

Tha 脿s-mhalairtearan 猫isg is maorach gu s貌nraichte m矛-thoilichte. Tha dragh air Jamie Mac a' Mhaoilein, aig a bheil Lochfyne Langoustines Earranta, mun bhuaidh a bhios aig na cosgaisean 霉r air a' chompanaidh aigesan:

"Tha e a' cosg eadar 拢400 agus 拢500 san latha dhuinne stuth 脿s-mhalairt dhan EU.

"Am-bliadhna cosgaidh e barrachd na 拢120,000 dhuinn ann an c矛sean maorach a chur dhan EU.

"Chan urrainn dhan ghnothachas agamsa sin a ghi霉lain. Chan urrainn dhuinn sin a ph脿igheadh," thuirt e.

Tha gnothachasan eile nas d貌chasaiche. Fhuair a' Highland Soap Company tabhartas de 拢4,000 bho R矛aghaltas na R矛oghachd Aonaichte airson an cuideachadh barrachd a reic thall thairis mar ph脿irt dhan ullachadh airson Brexit. 脌s an sin fhuair iad 貌rduighean luach 拢36,000.

Thuirt Emma Parton bhon chompanaidh:

"Tha sinn a' d猫anamh nas urrainn dhuinn gluasad air adhart.

"Chan eil mi airson stad a bhith a' malairt leis an EU, ach tha cothroman san t-saoghal mh貌r."

Brexit: 3 months on

Brexit: 3 months on
It's now over three months since the Brexit transition period came to an end and the new trading rules between the United Kingdom and the European Union began. The past weeks have been very challenging for some businesses. Although tariff free trade was agreed customs and other new charges mean that many are facing increased trading costs.

Seafood exporters, in particular, are unhappy. Jamie McMillan from Lochfyne Langoustines Ltd is worried about the financial impact of the new regulations:

"It's costing us between 拢400 and 拢500 a day for us to export to the EU.

"This year it is going to cost us an extra 拢120,000 in new fees to export to the EU which is simply, for my business, not viable.

"We can鈥檛 pay that."

Other businesses are more hopeful. The Highland Soap Company got a 拢4,000 UK Government grant to help them prepare for Brexit. From that they received 拢36,000 worth of orders.

Emma Parton from the company said:

"We are doing everything we can to move things forward.

"I in no way want to stop trading with the EU, but the world is our oyster."
