Car leasing; the different ways to buy a car as explained by consumer guru Jimmy Hughes. James Jones of Experian chats credit health and TV Licence assistance with the RNIB.

If you are thinking of buying a car, how should you finance it? Consumer guru Jimmy Hughes, is live to explain the differences in car leasing, hire purchases, PCP's and what to look out for when signing an agreement. Linda hears from listener Melissa, who suffered a stroke and is now unable to drive and has been left with PCP payments on a car she purchased in 2019.

It is Credit Awareness Week, and James Jones of Experian explains to Linda the importance of taking control of your credit score, along with top tips on keeping your it in good condition.

Listener Paddy contacted On Your Behalf as he is partially sighted and entitled to a reduced rate on his TV Licence, however ended up paying this in full. Linda speaks with Gillian Clifford, RNIB Policy and Campaigns Officer, on the help available for partially sighted people like Paddy, and how RNIB are working with the TV Licensing body, to make this an easier process.

And the case of the eight year phone bill; one listener discovered a 拢1300 bill for a phone that hadn't been used for 8 years. Leanne Proctor, regulatory manager of the Phone Ombudsman Services explains what help is available through the Ombudsman in this case.
