Episode 7
Five dealers compete to buy items including an unusual musical instrument, a fairground game and a treasure trove of theatrical drawings.
Nigel Havers welcomes three more sellers to the Bidding Room, where they try to sell items to professional dealers who are on the lookout for interesting pieces, with help from expert Simon Bower.
First up today is David, who loves scouring vintage shops for a bargain. He has brought in an accordion, and Nigel helps him out by enlisting musician Anita to play a tune to the dealers. So will the instrument hit all the right notes and secure David a sale? Next, father and daughter Ivan and Hayleigh hope the dealers are fairground lovers and that childhood nostalgia will set in when the bidding starts. Ivan promises to drive a hard bargain, but can he hit the jackpot today? Lastly, Stephanie and her daughter Mackenzie hope their unique theatre costume designs will steal the show. Nigel and Simon love the drawings, but Simon also puts a high valuation on them. So will the pair secure the price they are after when they take centre stage in front of the dealers?
Today's dealers are Adi, Ian, James, Jane and Tash. Will any of them match – or even top – the valuation placed on each of the items?
