Light in the Darkness Special

Live music from singer Elina Duni and guitarist Rob Luft and a guest mix from bassist Jasper Hoiby of acclaimed trio Phronesis.

As part of Radio 3’s Light in the Darkness season, Jumoké Fashola presents a special edition of J to Z full of warmth and winter light. She's joined by singer Elina Duni and guitarist Rob Luft who perform an evocative home session drawn from their new album Lost Ships. Danish bassist Jasper Høiby, of acclaimed trio Phronesis, shares some pieces from his collection – music that fires his imagination and brings him comfort in the winter months. And Jumoké explores the theme of winter light with classics by Gerry Mulligan, Carmen McRae and more.
