Printing your own bagpipe chanter, storytelling Ulster-Scots on Radio and a drop of ‘still’ – medicinal of course!

An Ulster-Scots yarn from Carrowdore on Radio Ulster, developing a new bagpipe chanter to print at home, and a wee dram of legal poteen – for medicinal purposes.

Rab Lennox chats to Donald Lindsay about printing your own bagpipe chanter at home – even if ‘home’ for Donald is on Ascension Island! Willie Hill is struggling with his husky voice and wonders if a dram of ‘still’ (poteen) would help, and we hear about W G Lyttle’s “Sons of the Sod” – now serialised for Radio Ulster’s audience. This week’s banter and blether is completed by Helen Mark and guest Mark Thompson.
