Matthew Warrick joins the Kintra team this week to tell us about his Ulster-Scots translation of a children’s book aimed at helping the conversation about the lockdown and current restrictions and what might be frightening or unsettling. He also has a poem from the Bard of Dunclug to share while Carol Baraniuk reviews Stuart Patterson’s new book of poems for children. Willie Hill hears about the Londonderry Feis from Pat McCafferty who has fond memories of taking part – he even has a song to share. Helen Mark and Rab Lennox complete the team for this week and as always, they’re delighted to hear from listeners with a yarn to share, a tune to request or an Ulster-Scots event to promote.
