Capturing the nation in conversation to build a unique picture of our lives today as we adjust to the 'new normal' and preserve it for future generations. Presented by Fi Glover.
Fi Glover presents friends, relatives and strangers in conversation as we emerge from lockdown and adjust to the 'new normal'. In this week's programme, teachers - recorded just before their return to school last week - discuss the difficulties they are going to have to face from day one of the new school year; A Level students recall the strange experience of picking up their results last month and talk about their worries and expectations as they approach their first year at university; graduates discuss the things that Covid has taken away from their university experience; and newlyweds, both in their thirties, both passionate about their jobs - and both with secondary cancer - reflect on this shared experience that has brought them together.
