Emeli Sandé takes over the show to celebrate the music and culture of Black artists, as Radio 2 commemorates Martin Luther King Jr.'s iconic 'I Have A Dream' speech.

Emeli joins Rev Kate Bottley and Jason Mohammad for a very special Good Morning Sunday, choosing the guests and some of the music on the show. Her guests include the singer-songwriter, and Â鶹Éç Sounds of 2020 winner, Celeste. Both women received the Brit Rising Star Award, and talk about life as a musician under Covid-19 and what inspires their music. Plus the photographer Misan Harriman was recently the first Black male photographer to shoot the front cover of British Vogue magazine. He talks about hope, activism, art and representation with Emeli.

Emeli is passionate about opening up a conversation about mental health, particularly within the Black community. She tells Kate and Jason what she's learned about self-care, and invites Marjorie Agwang from the charity Body & Soul to share her expertise with the listeners at a time when many are dealing with a heavy load. Plus Emeli discusses the importance of spirituality in her life, and how music can help people understand each other, come together and heal.

Emeli Sandé MBE is one of our brightest musical talents; the Scottish singer and songwriter who blew everyone away at the London 2012 Olympics opening and closing ceremonies, and whose debut album 'Our Version Of Events' was one of the biggest selling British albums of the last decade. She's written and collaborated with a roll call of pop and R&B royalty, and last year released the album 'Real Life' to critical acclaim, packed full of her powerful, soaring vocals and uplifting lyrics.
