Another chance to hear Tom chatting to Dexy's enigmatic frontman Kevin Rowland, originally broadcast in October 2014.

Dexy's Midnight Runners formed in Birmingham in 1978 and by 1980 their form of soulful pop had gained them their first of two number ones with Geno. They had two big selling albums off the back of the singles success, but they struggled with the 3rd album Don't Stand Me Down, which didn't match previous successes when finally released in 1985. The band split the following year.

They reformed in 2003 with three original members and a shortened name and released the fourth album One Day I'm Going To Soar in 2012.
