The Hero of the Hucklebuck
A special tribute programme to the late Brendan Bowyer including an interview Brian recorded with the singer over 20 years ago.
Brendan Bowyer's career stretched from Ireland's dance halls of the 50s and 60s all the way to Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas. Along the way he was admired by Elvis, had the Beatles as his support act and captured the imagination of a teenage Brian D'Arcy.
A special tribute programme featuring a full-length interview Brian did with the singer over 20 years ago in which he talks about a lifetime under the lights, coping with loss and dealing with alcoholism.
