The Clash – Remixed, Refixed and Reimagined
To celebrate the Clash's connection with Camden, another chance to hear alternate versions and covers of their songs selected by their good friend and collaborator Don Letts.
The Clash had strong connections with Camden, and their rehearsal room and HQ was in the old stables area of the market. The photo on the cover of their debut album was taken there. We’ve built a walk-in album cover on the exact spot where Kate Simon took the iconic photo of Joe, Paul and Mick in 1977 so that you can take your own version of the photo yourself.
And to provide the perfect soundtrack, there's another chance to hear a special programme Don Letts, a longtime friend and collaborator of the Clash, who directed their videos and won a Grammy for the film Westway to the World, made in December featuring his selection of alternate versions and covers the band's songs.
