Travel bans, face masks, school closures, bans on mass sports events and concerts and self-isolation - just some of the phrases we've become used to over the course of the last few weeks as the Coronavirus took hold across the world.
Yesterday, Boris Johnson warned that a fifth of the workforce may be off sick during the peak of a coronavirus epidemic in the UK.
He said that police may need to focus on only the most serious crimes and maintaining public order if the virus spreads.
Mr Johnson also said that the military could also provide support to emergency services if needed - how would that work here?
The government's response is in its first stage - containing the outbreak - with the number of UK cases rising from 39 to 53 today.
Out of the positive cases, 12 people have since recovered.
Today we have a Nolan show special. In the studio we have three of the key people from Northern Ireland, including the Chief Medical Officer, who are leading fight against the virus. They will take your calls and answer your questions about the virus.
They are, Dr Michael McBride, Chief Medical Officer, Dr Miriam McCarthy, Health and Social Care Board, and Dr Gerry Waldron, Assistant Director of Public Health at the PHA.
